About The Tour

Leh, the former capital of the Himalayan kingdom of Ladakh, is now a district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Located between the Kunlun mountain range to the north and the Great Himalayas to the south, Ladakh is inhabited by Indo-Aryan and Tibetan people. Spanning 95,000 square kilometers, it has one of the lowest population densities in the world, with just 2 people per square kilometer. An old Ladakhi saying goes: “The passes are so high and the land so barren; only a dear friend or a serious enemy will reach here.“

Known for its stunning beauty, Leh can be explored via various routes. The most popular is the thrilling drive from Manali to Leh, which takes you through high Himalayan passes, offering a chance to experience the region’s mountains, culture, and adventure. Direct flights from Delhi to Leh are available for those preferring a quicker route. Once there, visitors can explore the local culture by visiting monasteries and interacting with monks. Photographers will find plenty of opportunities to capture the breathtaking landscapes
