About The Tour

Step into the wild heart of the Terai with the Dudhwa Winter Photography Workshop — a 4-night, 5-day immersive journey through one of India’s most biodiverse tiger reserves. Held during the magical winter months, this workshop combines field exploration, hands-on learning, and expert-led photography sessions amidst misty grasslands, golden sal forests, and tranquil wetlands of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve.

Home to Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, wild elephants, and over 400 bird species, Dudhwa offers an extraordinary canvas for photographers seeking both challenge and inspiration. Participants will experience eight guided jeep safaris, each designed to explore the reserve’s varied habitats and lighting conditions — from the soft winter mornings to the golden glow of dusk.

Guided by an expert mentor, you’ll learn the art of reading animal behaviour, composing powerful wildlife portraits, and using natural light to craft compelling visual stories. Whether you’re an aspiring photographer or a passionate nature lover, this workshop promises a perfect blend of learning, adventure, and wilderness connection in one of India’s most enchanting landscapes.
