Hiren’s Gallery

Hiren Khatri is a naturalist, researcher, and wildlife photographer with over a decade of experience in wildlife research and nature photography. Holding an MSc in Environmental Sciences, he has contributed to pioneering research projects, including the study of Red Pandas in the Eastern Himalayas and a radio telemetry project on cobras in Thailand.

His passion for nature began in a small town, where an early fascination with the wild evolved into a lifelong mission to inspire conservation through photography. As a naturalist at a renowned wildlife lodge, he has guided guests on transformative journeys and trained local communities in Arunachal Pradesh to become nature guides. His work, which blends science, art, and emotion, has been published in Nature InFocus, Mongabay, SAEVUS, and Wildlife India.

With nine peer-reviewed research papers and awards from the Zoological Survey of India, Hiren also mentors aspiring photographers, helping them discover their voice and vision through meaningful visual storytelling.
